On April 25, during National Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Week (NOTDAW), two of our incredible advocates, Mary and Len Coates, set up a dedicated information table at Tri-Town Registries in Cold Lake.

This event was part of our continued efforts to raise awareness about the importance of registering your intent to donate. Mary and Len generously gave their time to connect with the community, answer questions, and offer materials that help people take that all-important step in supporting organ and tissue donation.

One of the easiest ways to register your intent is during your driver’s license renewal, but you don’t need to wait for that moment. You can also register directly at MyHealth.Alberta.ca.

We are so thankful to Mary and Len for championing this cause and to Tri-Town Registries for welcoming and supporting this initiative.

Every conversation helps save lives. If you haven’t registered your intent yet, please consider doing so today – and don’t forget to talk to your loved ones about your decision.

Together, we can make a difference.
